Mahalo nui to the staff at OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA,  a North Shore community event  that brought out 80+ book lovers of all ages.  The program featured  “Aloha, Mozart” along with non-fiction works on Buddhist temples here, the career of a local jazz musician who went far, and a new children’s story about a rascally Hawaiian rat.

The enthusiastic reponse of the audience was a reminder of the sweetness and endurance of community life.
